GEO optimization, so ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google recommend you.

Customers increasingly ask AI whom to choose. We work on your visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews: we measure who AI names, fix your site in code and content, then measure again.

who does GEO optimization in Prague?

This is what one query from our measurement looks like: we record which companies AI names, in what order and which pages it cites.

In short

GEO optimization (Generative Engine Optimization) means adjusting a website and its content so that AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews cite it in their answers. Webforte Technologies s.r.o. (Prague, company ID 23364343) first measures when AI mentions you and when it mentions your competitors. It then changes the site in code and content: answer blocks and FAQ, facts with sources, Organization schema, llms.txt and server-side rendering. After the changes it repeats the measurement and shows what moved. Technical changes take weeks, but citations in AI remain uncertain, so we judge them by trend, not by promise. We verified the approach on our own site, webforte.cz.

How we measure visibility in AI

AI answers change, so a single test is not enough. We run the same sample of queries repeatedly and watch the trend.

  • 01

    Query sample

We pick queries from your field that a customer should find you with, including those typed in natural language.
  • 02

    ChatGPT and Perplexity

We run the queries with web search on and record whom the AI names, in what order and which pages it cites.
  • 03

    Google AI Overviews

We check AI Overviews and AI Mode: when they appear and which sources they list.
  • 04

    Repeat after a month

The same queries again after the changes, so you see a trend and not a one-off snapshot.

We also see who is cited instead of you. That is exactly how we prioritise changes to your site.

What we change on your site

We work in code and content, not in plugin settings. Each change has one goal: that AI can find the site, understand it and cite it.

  • Answer blocks

    Direct answer up front

A short paragraph that can be cited on its own, and FAQ in HTML.

  • Facts

    Claims with a source

Concrete figures and links instead of generic phrases.

  • Schema and entity

Organization with sameAs, kept apart from others

Structured data plus company ID, address and people on the site, so AI recognises who you are and does not confuse you with another company.

  • Crawlers

    Access and server-side rendering

A check of robots.txt and of what AI crawlers actually see: the text is in the server response, not only after JavaScript runs.

  • llms.txt

    Site summary for AI

It helps with orientation, but is not enough on its own.

  • Off-site

    Third-party mentions

Directories, profiles and articles that AI also draws from.

SEO and GEO: how they differ

SEO gets you into the list of results. GEO is about whether AI mentions you in the answer. The foundation is shared.

SEO and GEO are not mutually exclusive. Most changes help both, which is why we do them together.

SEO optimization

On our own site

  • Answer blocks and FAQ with a direct answer at the top of service pages, so they can be cited.
  • Organization schema with sameAs
  • Separation from the Indian company Webforte technologies Pvt Ltd: company ID, address in Prague and the team on the site.
  • An llms.txt file with a summary of the site
  • Lighthouse 100 and Next.js with server-side rendering, so crawlers get finished text.
  • Facts in the text with a source and a date

Where we verified it

We did GEO on our own site first and then on an education portal. We state only what can be verified, with no promises.

How GEO optimization works

We set the scope and the quote after a consultation. Technical changes take weeks, but citations in AI stay uncertain, so we judge the trend and promise no ChatGPT recommendation.

  1. Baseline measurement

We build a sample of queries from your field and find out whom AI names and which pages it cites.

OutputA table of queries and mentions, the starting position.

  2. Audit and priorities

We go through the site as AI crawlers see it: what they see, how the content is structured and what is missing from answers. We rank the changes by expected impact.

OutputA list of changes ranked by priority.

  3. Changes in code and content

We deploy answer blocks, FAQ, schema and llms.txt, fix server-side rendering and add facts with sources.

    OutputChanges deployed on the site.

  4. Repeat measurement and report

We run the same queries again after the changes and compare them with the baseline. We decide by trend, not by a single measurement.

OutputA before and after comparison with a recommendation for next steps.

Who GEO optimization suits

Customers read AI answers more and more often. These signs show that your site is not reaching them properly.

It fits when

  • Customers find you by comparing and ask AI whom to choose: for services, software or specialist topics.
  • Your site has a solid SEO foundation: content, speed and technical condition.
  • AI names your competitors
  • AI writes inaccurately about you

It does not fit when

  • You want certainty that ChatGPT will recommend you. Nobody can honestly give that.
  • The site has no SEO foundation or content yet. That is needed first.
  • You are looking for a quick trick, such as just adding an llms.txt file, and never coming back to the results.
  • You do not want to measure and come back to the results.

Frequently asked questions

Generative Engine Optimization means adjusting a website and its content so that AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) can find it, understand it and cite it in their answers.

They are different names for almost the same thing: optimization for AI answers. GEO is the most widespread, AEO stresses answer engines and LLMO language models. In practice we make the same changes.

No. An llms.txt file helps language models find their way around a site, but it does not replace good content, structured data or making sure AI crawlers can see the site at all.

No. AI answers change and nobody controls them. We can guarantee the changes to the site and the measurement, and we judge the result by the trend of mentions and citations.

We prepare a quote after a consultation, based on the size of the site and the number of queries in your field. We do not publish prices because every site is different.

It is best to fix the SEO basics first: content, technical condition and links. AI often draws on pages that rank well in search. GEO and SEO changes overlap to a large extent, so they can be done together.
